Creepy text
The horror/aesthetic framing of the same effect, weighted toward marks below the letter so text looks like it's dripping or melting.
Creepy text uses the identical Unicode combining-mark technique as zalgo and cursed text, but the look it's tuned for is different: less "corrupted file," more "something is dripping off the letters." That comes almost entirely from marks stacked below the character, so this framing defaults to heavy below-intensity with light marks above and very little through the middle.
It's the effect people reach for on Halloween captions, horror-game Discord servers, and creepypasta titles — legible enough to read at a glance, unsettling enough to land the mood.
Generate it with the creepy text generator, which defaults to heavy "below" intensity and light "above"/"through" so the dripping look stays readable.
